  • 13 from the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
  • 5 from the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences
  • 2 from the College of Engineering

How senators serve students

  • Advocate for them
  • Represent them on campus-wide issues
  • Participate in current issues

How ASUCR Involves Students

ASUCR appoints students to committees such as:

  • The Registration Fee Advisory Committee that allocates millions of dollars annually and makes key decisions concerning registration fees,
  • The Commons Board of Governors that decides on the UCR Commons Student Center.

ASUCR also funds most on-campus clubs, provides free workshops, holds student senate elections, and operates the student-owned and operated Exchange Store.

Free Advertising for Clubs!

Does your club need free advertising for a program or event?  All non-selective clubs registered through the Student Life office are eligible for free advertising on the ASUCR Clubs Page in the Highlander Newspaper!
