Hi Highlanders!!
My name is Rohan Vig, your 2026-27 Vice President of Finance! I am a 4th-year Environmental Sciences major with a minor in Public Policy.
My hope is to make the Office of Finance a reliable, and approachable resource. Whether you are applying for funding for the first time, planning an event or looking into travel grants, I hope our office can help you navigate both new and existing funding opportunities and feel supported throughout that process.
I’m especially excited to strengthen collaboration between Student Life and the finance committee to improve workshops, communication, guidance, and accessibility. This year I also hope to expand programming in both student organization funding and personal financial literacy. As a first generation student, I know how valuable it is to have resources to help you navigate unfamiliar or complex systems. I hope financial education helps students feel more confident managing their finances today while preparing for their futures.
Outside of ASUCR, I have a passion for environmental policy, public health and how we can make communities more sustainable & equitable! I also love going to the beach, concerts and trying new food spots.

Finance Committee
The ASUCR Finance Committee, operating under the Office of the Vice President of Finance, is responsible for allocating funds generated by student fees to registered student organizations. Through finance hearings, the Finance Committee determines allocations of general funding and organizational grants based on the guidelines set forth by ASUCR Finance Committee bylaws. The committee additionally ensures all ethical spending policies are followed by student organizations seeking reimbursement from ASUCR.
