Hello Highlanders! My name is Leila Haidar, I'm a fourth year Biology Major with a minor in Political Science, and I'm excited to serve you as this year's ASUCR President, the head of the Executive Branch!

Throughout my past 4 years of ASUCR, I've had the privilege to advocate for students, community members, and more through the resources and connections that I've acquired at this university. As your president, my goal is to help facilitate a college environment where students feel empowered to innovate, excel, and above all, feel valued. Through our association’s many projects and initiatives aimed to support our students, I hope to ensure that ASUCR is a representative space of the needs and interests of the student body.

Feel free to reach out to me if you ever have any comments, questions, or concerns about ASUCR, the school, or other concerns through my email presidentasucr@ucr.edu. You can also set up a 15 minute meeting here (https://calendly.com/asucrotp). Thank you, and have a wonderful rest of your day!

Commuter Student Committee

The ASUCR Commuter Student Committee under the Office of the President is responsible for overseeing initiatives made for commuters, aiming to support and engage with our large undergraduate commuter student population. The Committee aims to focus on projects and initiatives set to improve public transportation around and to UCR, as well as increased access to resources, opportunities, and information for commuter students.
