Alice Parra Rios

Hello Highlanders!
My name is Alice Parra Rios. I’m a fourth year Political Science/Law and Society student with a minor in Public Policy. I am so excited to serve as your First-Time College Student Director for the 2025-2026 school year!
I served as a CHASS Senator this past school year, working closely with other offices and departments to provide education and resources to our student body. Some examples of my collaborative work include collaboration with the Inland Empire Labor and Community Center to create the Know Your Rights events and with the Center for Undergraduate Research and Engaged Learning to create the R’course workshop event.
As your First-Time College Student Director, I would like to continue to foster a space for collaboration with a focus on providing resources and opportunities for our first year students! If you would like to collaborate with my office, have any interest in being a part of the committee, or have any questions, don’t be afraid to reach out! You can reach me through aparr045@ucr.edu or asucrfirstyear@ucr.edu. Looking forward to another amazing year with ASUCR!
First-Time College Student Committee
